WORK RANT, ETC.
Welll,
The finances have dictated that I have to change jobs.... again. I've been working at County Market for 6 weeks now, and between the pay and hours, I don't quite make enough to make ends meet. My roommate has been very patient and helpful through quitting cabbying and the switch, and I'm grateful for that. However, I like working at County Market: I live next door, so no driving, the people a generally very nice to work with, etc. Oh, well.
I'm also thinking I may need to delay the idea of pursuing a relationship, at least until I'm more stable moneywise. I dislike this, because it could mean waiting too long or getting my hopes too high. Josh Henry said to me today "maybe some girl will court you", or at least words to that effect. However, church-going girls don't do that in my experience. So, I will lead myself to believe I am doomed. At least temporarily.

No, being single does not mean I'm defective, but I cannot share a place with a roommate forever, and I do know that I fare poorly living alone. I am also aware that may have been a run-on sentence, but I liked it anyway. As far as patience, I haven't actually been anxious over the issue, but there's a comfort in having some temporal permanence in life that I would like.
